I received a (missed) call from this number on my cell - only my family, few close friends, also the Hospital E.R. have this number !! ! - so I called back to find out the reason for this call. - For one, I have no debts; - The person obviously in a Company (loud background noises), asked ME for my name (?) I asked: "First, who is calling me??" Answer: " let me connect you with' "that person"'.
On came a long, cocophony of noisy, distorted music - I waited, then I hung up.
This outfit does not have the basics of phone courtesy, I suppose they are bogus.
GC Services - if your student loan is getting ready to default, they work as a mediator between you and the National Student Loan Authority to keep your loan from defaulting.

I got a call from this number on a Saturday morning and the message left told me to call back at 1-877-551-9781 (extension 0091). Didn't say why, didn't say what company they were or anything other than a garbled name (Francine? Francis?) and to call that number back at "my earliest convenience".
I checked the number they told me to call back and other folks have said it has something to do with collecting student loans except that I have no student loans and have not ever had student loans.
