Received phone call from an automated service that stated that my debit card was deactivated,and to enter 1 to reactivate it. It then tells you that it will need some additional information to process the activation.
I hung up after that because I would not have entered my card and pin number, which I guessed it was going to ask for next.
I reported it to my debit card holder and they verified that it would not have been from them.
I received a call from this number on 8/16/09 at 1:11pm. The recording stated that it was Prince Georges Credit Union calling to state that my credit card had been deactivated and that I needed to press 1 to reactivate. I originally thought that it computer system dialed the wrong number as I don't have an account with them. I am going to research this further and see if I can find any more information on this.
