The DO NOT CALL LIST does not work anymore because your number is being called by a computer. Then you are put on hold until someone takes your call. Then there is the scam where all you have to do is answer. They have clients that want to know when you are home to answer the phone.

Your statement is incorrect.  The Do Not Call list does work, however, criminals have a blatant disregard for the law.
