They left a the following info on my answering machine: They are Bank of NY Melon Share Owner Services calling on behalf of Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Florida, Inc. about some annual meeting and to submit my proxy card.. but they are calling for someone who doesn't live here.. LOL They gave a callback number of 866-340-1579. Sounds legit, they just have the wrong number.
This callers name was Songra. Saying she will like to speak to the person in charge of the utility account and said it was regarding an urgent matter. She wouldn't specify what the issue was and was very unprofessional, rudely persistent, and called more than once. Urging for the person to call her back either today or tomorrow morning. Sounds like they are trying to sell something and don't want to admit it. I asked what company she worked for and she said AP & G...Be aware.
