I have just started receiving frequent calls as described by other posters from this number. It has just made five calls to my cell spaced five minutes apart, starting at 1:18 am, awaking and alarming me. Now I notice there was also a call from this number yesterday afternoon at 3 pm. Does anyone here know more about this or how to stop it. How is it associated with Optimum Voice, as someone has indicated. They are my land line service. If I gave them my cell number, I really regret it!
This repeatedly calls at 2:54am..leaves 5 messages nightly and I'm being told by my carrier I have to change my phone number! Why should I have to change my number?? I want this to stop.
You need to get a call blocking phone or a stand alone call blocker. They are reasonably priced and can be found online or in stores. Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy carry them. Changing your phone number means that you get someone else's phone number. Just like buying a used car and getting their problems, the same will happen with the new number. Also,. the phone carrier will probably charge you for a number change.
