Offered $9,000 grant that never needs to be paid back. I asked if this is a scam and she hung up on me. Called me 3 times so far today. I only answered once.
Received a call offering $8,000 in grant money. I knew It was a scam from the start, but went along. The rep advised me he was from the Treasury Department in Washington D.C. and I was 1 of 1,500 people chosen in the country. I told him to send me a check. He told me my only options were for them to direct deposit into my bank account or on a credit card. He asked me for credit card information or my bank account number. I told him absolutely not! Take me off your list.
