difficult to understand the person due to mumbling and accent; they were only willing to speak with me, thus verified that it was me; they said i have been reported for tax evasion.
I had a message to call this number back. It claimed to be the IRS and was a time sensitive matter and I had to call back immediately. I called the number as we have an issue - and did not realize it was not an 800 or 888 number as before. I figured it was a direct number to call a specific person. I called and it rang 8 times. The person answered and he had a distinctive accent as from India. He said my phone number and I said this is my phone number. He began talking about something and asked me if this was correct. I said " I do not understand one word of what you just said" and he ended the call
