Called asking for my business name, then requested verification of my address. Instead I asked again WHO they were... said something like Mayan or Mairen Corp - and she hung up on me. Women caller with unrecognized accent. Not anyone I recognize or do business with, and I have no debt in my business name for a collection agency to be bothering me about.

Asked for my business name as above, identified the company without being asked, and verified if the phone/person listed was correct. Since all of this is easily verifiable information, I did confirm the information. While yes, they should've been smart enough to find this out on their own, I feel it's in the best interest PR-wise to be accommodating, since it *is* a business number they called me on. Polite, helpful customer service never loses a customer. If you're paranoid about confirming the information already on a publicly listed license registered with the government, perhaps business isn't the trade skill for you.
