they called me again and i answered and they are calling for free goverment grants but i think this is a scam call the do not call list to register your number @ 1-888-382-1222
My wife & I had also filled also filled out a form online for grant information. Boy was that a big mistake. The first time this # called they told us all about the information they wanted to send us on how to successfully file a grant request. They said the information was free but that they required a $2.95 fee for s&h, which could be put on a debit/credit card. When we told them we did not have the money to pay for the s&h they then asked us if we knew anybody we could borrow the money from. Since then (for about 2-3 days) they were calling our cell phone about every 30-45 minutes. When we'd answer they would not say anything but you could hear background noise for a few moments and then they would hang up. Got the same response when calling the # back. Found out the same information when doing a reverse phone lookup on whitepages.com. Finally, my wife answered the call on Saturday evening and, even though they didn't say anything, she told them that if the phone calls did not stop she would have our attorney get in touch with them. Mysteriously, the calls have stopped since then. Hope this infomation helps someone.
Calls me constantly throughout the day and does not leave a message. When I try to call the number back, there is an outgoing message saying that the mailbox is full and to try again later.
