This number has been calling BOTH my cell phone & my "home phone" (which is magic jack and UNLISTED!) - Well today, the person must have not been paying attention because they left me a voice mail saying "<my name>.....Hello?....<my name>, you there?....hello, <my name>...." this went on for like 45 seconds LOL! It was a females voice, she sounded as if she were in her 40s?...with an asian accent. I called the # back but it just says "thank you for calling the customer service department, if you'd like to speak with an available representative, press 1. if you'd like to add your number to our do not call list press 2. To end this call press *"...First off, I pressed 2....and it claims my number is now added to their do not call list (we shall see?!)....then I thought "I wonder what this place is?!" So I called again, this time I pressed 1 to talk to someone.... and it said "we're sorry but nobody is available to answer your call, please select a different option from the main menu" -- you'd think if this place was LEGITIMATE they wouldn't want to miss your call and have a voicemail option?.... Wish I could find out WHO it is, just a bunch of sites complaining about not knowing who it is and nobody speaks when the call is answered LOL!
I am receiving the same calls. I am getting at least 15 calls a day. I have added my number 7 times to the do not call list. One time I picked it up and someone did start talking, even though I could not understand him. I told him very firmly to take me off of the calling list. He kept on talking and ignoring every word I have said so I hung up on him. This is rediculous. I would like to know how to stop it also.
In all those visits to the DONOTCALL website to register your number 7 TIMES, did you even bother to click on the FILE A COMPLAINT BUTTON?
Yes that is correct, you DO NOT REREGISTER YOUR NUMBER over and over again,
Once you have been on the list for 31 days - you can file complaints. That is how YOU notify them of the problem! That is how they KNOW TO GO AFTER THEM!
So it looks like you keep doing the wrong thing(reregistering 7 times) but NEVER DID THE RIGHT THING - USE THE FILE A COMPLAINT BUTTON AND REPORT THEM!
Funny I too just started getting calls from this number. I bet it is out of someone's house. I call get the same stupid message that call volume too high. A bunch of BS. I think we should report to better business bureau or something.
I got 12 calls from this number from 12:15 noon and 1:20 pm i screamed into the phone and I do mean i screamed not to call me back again and they havent so far...I think I scared the guy lol
