Guy calling and wanting to make sure "the OSHA compliant/ Labor law stuff" he was sending was not duplicate. Asked for Boss like he had spoken to him previously. Placed him on hold and then dumped him into voicemail- Never ordered anything- If it smells Scammy, and sound Scammy- then most likely it is a Scam
wanted to send us updated OSHA information, asked for our Health & Safety guy here. When I told him we changed Health & Safety guys and could I take his message, he hung up! When I called the number back, recording said YOU HAVE REACHED ANFAX(?) IF YOU WOULD LIKE US TO RETURN YOUR CALL PLEASE LEAVE YOUR NAME AND NUMBER.
Woman requested a specific employee who is in charge of tax matters. I replied that she was overseas, the woman asked for the number, I answered we don't give that out, she said Thank You and hung up. Probably wanted to impart information (equals solicitation). At least she didn't persist or start an argument -- it's too early on Monday for that.
