Thank you sooooooo very much for posting the 800 number. I also just installed carpet by Empire Today and began receiving those 201 call. I called Empire Today and spoke with a guy named George...ah ha... anyhow he stated that he would place my # on the do not call list and it may take 48 hrs or so to fall off....soooo I shall see.

Glad I found this site as I have also been receiving calls from this number on my work number each day just after 4pm. Since this is a work line (I work from home), I don't pick up calls that I don't recognize or am not expecting. As it turns out, I just had Empire out here a couple of weeks ago, just before the calls started.
This all makes sense now. For 5 days in a row this number has been calling up on my caller ID on my office phone. All of the calls are around 7:45 - 7:50 and there is never any message.
I just had Empire Today install carpet in the Condo I am selling and provided them with my work number as it's the easiest way to get a hold of me.
Now that I know Empire does this, I'll be sure NOT to use Empire again. So glad I came across this.
