Ever since I got a new phone number with Windstream (our only local carrier for everything), I've been inundated by these kind of calls. Thank goodness I know about the "Select Call Reject", a free svc that comes with phone svc. (They ought to provide something like that since I'm certain they are the ones who turn around and sell new number info to these scammers and telemarketers) Anyway, you just dial *60 and follow the instructions to add numbers to your list (like a junk mail list) and all future calls from those numbers on your list are blocked before they ever get through to ring. I have only had this new number for 3 weeks and I've already added 23 numbers to my list.
Hate them . . . love the list.
