Got a call from this number today looking for someone by my first name. Told them they had the wrong number and hung up. I've got no outstanding debts; no clue who these guys are. Beware.
Gat a call at 8:05 am. They wanted to talk to me son. I asked what it was about but all they would say is "it's a private matter". They wanted me to give them his phone number and were a little put out that I refused unless they would tell me what it was about. {be damned if they get anything from me} They said they could not tell me due to 3rd party matters and would have to get an OK from my son first. Told them that's not going to happen because they are not getting his number. They asked about leaving a message. They want him to call Tyler Green at 877-907-1820.
Something fishy with people so watch out. These people appear to be bottom feeders trying to scam SSN#'s from people.

They called and left a long message with a callback number and reference number. They stated they were from the Dept of Treasury but also said 'by law they are required to notify me they are a debt collection agency" as well as leaving a name.... Portia ? Her accent was very difficult to understand (Indian?). They did not specify my name. I do not have any outstanding debts and have maintained an excellent credit rating over the years. I always appreciate the information I find here for comparison. Thank you everyone!
