Rcv'd call when phone was on silent during work. No message. Don't know anybody with this number. Cell companies NEED to take responsibility to prevent these calls.
I get call like this sometimes so when I get a number calling me I don't know I answer the phone with my fake " little old lady voice" and say they have wrong number. They dont bug you for months!!!

They call me out of the blue with no reason...I bet these are scams, be careful!
Called 2x by different people, asking to verify my name and address without providing me reason why they are calling me for...when I said, I don't know you and would not give out my info to anyone I don't know, the female said, "ok, I'll call you back"
got a recorded announcement at 8:04AM. asked for my relative that lives out west. 3 hours time difference!! i am sure it was a collection call. the nerve to call a relative.
received call around 10:30 AM. He said, he is staff of " Century Link"
I don't know why he knew my name and address. Then, he said " you don't to pay yet, you can chose credit or debit. I said " I paid already by check. I would like to make sure for bank and Century link. So please call me back later" He said, OK. But never call me back again.
They call here three or four times a day & usually hang up after the third ring. Once, my husband answered it, and a message said, "If you aren't (whatever name they gave), hang up.". He figured they'd stop calling, but they still do, and it's been happening for well over a month.
