I believe it is from a "company" selling generic viagra and other "medications" without the requirement of a doctor's prescription. No idea as to their trustworthiness.
To those who say call the perps back: it doesn't work. The caller ID is forged, so you aren't even calling them. At best, you are calling a number that doesn't connect to anyone. At worst, you are harassing an innocent third party. If they happen to stop calling after you call, it was a coincidence.
And no, the DNC list does not work for scammers, 99% of whom are outside the US (remember, the caller ID is forged) and can't be touched by the US government. The DNC list only works for legitimate businesses, which are no longer the main problem.
Another Damn Canadian pharmacy. I got tired of it and called back for an hour
continuously. Each time didn't let them have a chance to speak before
I told them mine is twice as big and long as any of theirs and I dont need
any of their blue pills ! ( I am putting it NICELY here ) ! After an hours
worth of pounding their phone lines and hearing the same people answer
more than once, and getting my blast, We shall see if they let off. If not,
the FCC (which is worthless anymore) will get involved.
I like your response to them. When I receive one of these calls, I put the number in my Google contacts (Canadian pharmacy 1, 2, 3 etc. I now am up to 9). I set the ringtone option to "send directly to voice mail."
