We just received a phone call from ``Max Milo``. When asked for number was told 201-844-6490.
We were told our computer would go down. Asked if we have facebook, ect. What can be done to stop this?
my wife just get that call phone too asking the same and to do somethings in the computer she hang on and tell me and the girl (angelica) give her a code that looks like the id of software lol i hope the ppl read more this post
I have had several calls from so-called Microsoft security, today it was "Edward Wilson" who had an almost impenetrable Indian accent who called so I asked for a phone number so that I could call back later and was given this number. I realized with the first call (probably over a year ago) that it was a scam and now enjoy messing with them. Finally I started telling them that I did not have a computer in the house which brought about an abrupt end to the call. But how to stop them?
I received a phone call yesterday from a guy named Oliver and he had a very strong Indian accent. He claimed to be with Microsoft and that he had received many security alerts from my computer and he wanted me to go to my computer and give him some information so that he could help me fix he problem. He said that someone has been hacking it and it is possibly infected with several viruses. It sounded weird to me so I asked for his number so my husband could call him back. And he gave me 201-844-6490. But my caller ID said private caller.
Just got the second call from a guy named Kenneth, said he was calling from Manchester UK (201 844 6490), but had a indian accent. An hour before I got a call from an Alex Watson, and he gave away that he was in a totally different timezone than the UK, more like India. My computer was supposed to be corrupted for more than 90% and he would have the solution. First he asked me to enter the "assoc" command in the command prompt, and when I asked him why he started a strange story. Not to be trusted!!!
(I think they now start working on the Netherlands)
