caller targets elderly folks, claims to be grandson in trouble, needs money to solve problem with rental car and an accident that he was involved in. VERY convincing person, basically begs for money, asks grandparents not to contact parents, not to discuss with anyone. Sends the victims to Walmart to buy gift cards ($2000-$3000) worth, he then calls back to get the numbers, spends money on purchases at Walmart.com...money is lost..Walmart not very willing to help. This happened to (3) families in Alabama that I know of so far...November 2016....tell your elderly friends and family...beware.
SCAM/FRAUD. Do not answer. Do not engage. As with the previous postings, claimed to be a "grandson" in trouble, in Las Vegas. have reported this to the authorities.
