Answering machine always on. If I hear a voice and it's not a Robo call, I will pick up. If you pick up, it's pegged as a live wire and your number goes out to all the rest. Long ago, I would pick up and tell 'em to go to hell and phone call after phone call from different numbers would come across for days, sometimes weeks. So, If no message left, I block 'em forever. I read where they are now changing what number you see even though it's just the same old number they've been using forever. So, the best one can do is let it go to voice, no message, block it.
I just got done calling the 800 number for my TDAmeritrade account...and 5 minutes later these Jersey bozos call.......out of the blue...I can't help but assume some sort of link or alert from using the 800 number.
Called my cell phone. I didn't recognize the number so I just let it go to voice mail and of course no message left - SCAMMER! I have received several of these types of calls the past few days. (503) 205-4445, (310) 288-1527. (702) 359-5643. (253) 588-8439. (410) 702-2157. These are just some of the last few numbers I have received calls from. A few of the area codes I recognized and when I answered it was a long recording of some make money fast scheme but no number to call or live person.
