I received 2 IPad scam texts in past 12 hours. Has anyone here answered a Craigslist ad recently? I've been emailing about apartments and receiving scam email replies. Wondering if they are also using number for text scams?
Received two spam text messages from this number within a 12 hour period. First one came in near 1:00 AM CST. Second one received at 3:47 AM. Text message reads:
"Apple is looking for people to Test & Keep the New iPad3! But only the 1st 1000 users that goto http://ipad3winner.co and enter code BETA will Receive it!"
Had to call phone company to have the number blocked. Have not given number out to anyone or have signed up for anything.
