GCS, Galaxy Capital Solutions called using different names like tony stevens,ashley anderson, john lee, chris martin, do not believe anything they say this is a scam. Trace the number they call from if they do not block it. This company is being investigated for FTC violations for trying to force people into paying old debts that are out of date and they are trying to renew them. Do not admit anything or confirm any of their questions. If the debt is a old one the original company already wrote it off as unpaid.
I received a call Friday May 17th from a Ronald Howard (funny, isn't that a movie actor from back in the day. He stated it was Galaxy Capital Solutions and that he had a case concerning my social security number and name against me. He stated that he needed me to call him back as soon as possible and give to him my intent so that he could let his client know of my intent before the case went to court! He stated that I had been "formally" notified.
1) Does he not realize that this kind of statement alone is against FTC practices.
2) Does he not realize he has sent me nothing in the mail and that if I request something in writing he MUST provide that to me by USPS mail, not email or fax, but by LEGAL USPS mail.
3) Does he not realize that a phone call is not LEGAL notification of a debt.
And finally my last thoughts, FAKE DEBT COLLECTORS are hateful, mean and pulling rabbits out of their rear ends to try and make a quick dollar. Sure if I called him and gave him a credit card number right away it would make him stop calling me and then I would have my entire account withdrawn or overspent.
Sorry Ronald Howard, you get nothing because you have nothing to collect on nor do you have proof of anything to collect on that would even for one moment stand up in any court in the USA!
Go find a real job like McDonalds or Burger King, cause I am not Burger King and you don't get things your way right away.
By the way I am turning you into your State Attorney General and also the Federal Trade Commission!
