got 8 calls in last two days from this number. CID comes up as Weehawken NJ. Called it back and it put me on hold for a CSR. No CSR available called twice. I blocked the number on comcast call blocking by using *60. I blocked another of these types form Frankling TN yeserday using same calling pattern of about every 45 minutes to an hour. I think it rolled me to the Weehawken number. When you call you get an option to press 2 and get on their do not call list. I did it and it called me again five minutes later. I then blocked the number. These are incredibly annoying.
Yesterday they called my house 34 times!!!! When I answer there is no one there. I have reported this number to the unlawfull call center with my local phone company. I also am on the do not call list. I hope they can work something out....it is extremly anoying! My next step is to get call intercept...they have to idenfied themselves or their call will not ring to my phone.
In the last two days I've received 38 calls from this cell phone. They never talk or leave a message. ATT is my carrier and they have an "Annoyance" department who will investigate your complaint. I also filed a complaint directly with the FCC (NOT the "National Do Not Call" web site which is useless)and they (FCC)will assign a case number for you.
My hope is that enough of us will file complaints that they'll do something about this crap.
Calls started today 8/8/2009 @8:17 am and again at 9:01 am. Didn't answer didn't know the called..... We are on the do not call list and still get unwanted telemarketer.
