They told him they had to install AdBlocker Plus to fix his problem, and demanded a credit card for a $199 payment. He freaked out and called me asking for my credit card number. I told him no, so a woman (Indian accent) called me from this number, and started talking really fast about what the problem was and what needed to be done. I asked what company she worked for, and she went silent. Then she hung up. Too bad, my next question was going to be why we had to pay $199 for Freeware we could download from the internet any time we wanted.
