I give up, the scammers win. I'm porting my cell phone number to Google Voice to block these scam phone numbers. Here's the info - http://support.google.com/voice/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1065667 Google Voice also gives you free text messaging and visual voicemail. Verizon won't help, the FCC won't help, only Google will help stop these scam calls.
This is Verizon Wireless calling to let you know your monthly payment is past due! Pay your bill within a week or so, otherwise they will shut off your service.
I don't have any accounts with Verizon - so calling me to collect on an overdue bill - is either a complete scam (watch out about giving payment info over the phone to these guys) - - - OR - - - Verizon has their records screwed up
