Threatened that the IRS filed a lawsuit against me and a sheriff would be at my door in 25 minutes unless I paid 1,000 (or however much I have) to cancel the warrant and then pay 8k in back taxes! INSANE. I cross referenced with my local sheriff who assured me it was a scam and I also called him back and told him I traced his number to New Jersey, needless to say he hung up on me.
1. It is a very well-publicised scam

2. Publishing your own address in a public forum is ... um ... not wise.
I have reported your post, but you may be getting some scam snailmails because of your folly.
