That number called today (& maybe many other times) and say only they can fix my virus. He also said they were hired by Micro Soft. Terrible accent I couldn't understand - I hung up.
The number is from someone who tries to direct you to get to a certain website because he says that his company is receiving information from your ISP telling them that something is wrong with your computer. Don't go to the website, and report them to the FCC.
The person on the line says they have received several error messages from your IP address and that they are calling to fix it,they then tell you to go to a certain site and enter some information. When they finished talking I replied that's funny you received an error message from me being that I don't even own a computer and they immediately hung up the call.

Recieved this a phonecall from this HACKER at 10:30a.m. Mountain Time -- A disturbing creep with a foreign accent calls asking for a specific person, specifically about a PC
which I've never given information out, nor have I called anyone about any computer.
I tell him he has the wrong number and he keeps repeating "are you sure?"
until I yell at him for the last time!
