A man with a very heavy Indian accent called me this morning claiming to be from the State Health Department and saying something about medical claims. Then starting asking if I'd ever had certain medical procedures. He asked about three questions and when I didn't give a response, he hung up. Must be a prank call or a scam.
man with a very heavy Indian accent called me 1049 on 2-22 - same person called me from 203-734-8209 claiming to be from the "State Health Department" - I just say, can't hear you, and hang up. they don't call back with THAT number, but clearly using other phone numbers.
have been called 3 or 4 times from the same people. callers are so heavily accented you can barely make out what they are saying. one asked if i had had bladder surgery specifically. the other two wanted to know about any recent surgery. the last one mumbled something about medical coverage.
