My wife just got a call from this number! He said his name was "office williams" from the United Federal Bureau. He said that she had taken out a $500.00 payday loan from US National Bank. He said that she had defaulted and that charges would be filed for fraud and money laundering! He told her that she would loose her job, her credit would be ruined and that she would be arrested. She could, however, stop this if she would pay $900.00 today. We closed our accounts, contacted our banks fraud department, filed a report with the FTC, the FBI, the BBB, the Jersey City, NJ (where the number comes from) police department, the local police and the credit bureau's. He knew her bank account information, her name and address, and her parents names!
received a call from a david becker with an accent. told me the same bull storey about a loan and going to court and paying an enormous amount of money if i didn't send the money today or my case would be downloaded to the local court. i know this is a scam. do not pay these people.
This person is calling from "CNA" Christian Nicholas & Associates. It is a scam they are trying to get money from your son, stating that he has a loan and needs to pay a bunch of money to prevent it from going to court.
They called me and threated to have me fired from my job and have all my accounts frozen if I did not pay.
