the 202-000-0999 calls me several times a week. I ask to have my no. removed from calling list. They are crude and vulgar. The said f-you about ten times plus other vulgarity. The Federal Communications or whatever office deals with this insane bunch of scammers needs to focus on shutting them down and prosecuting the whole bunch
An indian guy named "Murphy" called twice. The first time I answered I hung right up but the second time I said hello. He asked "who am I calling"??? I told him that he called my company and if he did not know who he was calling then I am unable to assist him. He then said he knows who he is calling and asks if I received any calls about grants. I told him that any calls I receive are absolutley none of his business. He then says he is calling from the US Treasury Department. I said okay (in a sarcastic tone) then who do you need to speak with. He asked AGAIN if I recieved any calls about grants. I asked him again who he needs to speak with and what his call is regarding. He asked again who he was calling and and at that point I hung up. I knew right away from the number that whoever was calling is a scamming over seas call center. I CAN NOT STAND these calls. Next time I see this number Im going to have fun with it and keep them on the phone as long as I possibly can.
I just received a call from this number from an Indian caller claiming that I was selected to receive government money. And then he said f*** you and hung up. The number was 209-000-0999.
US Dept of Treasury calling to say I have been randomly selected to receive a grant for $8000 that doesn't need to be paid back. They call at least once day
I have received several phone calls from this number the past few day and today several times. Today I was told this guy was with the "U.S. Government" and that I had been approved for free grants. When I questioned him, he became verbally aggressive and stated that he would keep calling till I got on the phone. I was at work and several employees listened to his call. He also became very confrontational stating that he wondered if I was a man of my word when I told him I would report this to Ohio's Attorney General. He became very aggressive with our office manager who told him I was not available. He promised to continue calling even thought I told him not to call again. Finally I told him that I enjoyed his ignorance and was recording all calls. He has not called since.
