I have seen this number constantly on my caller ID.Assuming it's a telemarketer I usually just pick up and hang up that quick. If I don't hang up I have to filter through lots of voice mails that are just hang ups. Last night the number called so i hung up on it but it kept calling right back. So finally I answered and a male voice said
"HOW DARE YOU HANG UP ON ME NOW LET ME TALK TO (he gives my mother name)"
Now my mom is in her final stages of dementia and has been a victim of identity theft before so
I said "who are you?"
The male voice respond "NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS LET ME TALK TO HER"
I said to him "it is my business this is my phone and it's in my name don't call here anymore"
caller responded "I WILL CALL YOU EVERYDAY AND GOOD LUCK TRYING TO STOP ME"
I filed a formal complaint after he hung up on me with the state Attorney General. I doubt anything comes of it but at least I have it on record.He called again at 9:30AM this morning but i was at work. I ordered a service through my phone provider this afternoon to block this call. i hope it works.

I got the same type of call yesterday (8/30/10) from an "OUT OF AREA" number. The guy rudely asked for my husband by name. I assumed it was a call from a charitable organization and asked who was calling. He told me "Brian Kennedy, but I don't see what bearing that has on whether (my husband's name) is home or not." I was stunned (which is probably what gives him his jollies) and didn't respond immediately. He said, "What's the matter? Can't you speak? What's wrong with you?" I hung up. The phone immediately rang again with the 202-041-7577 number on caller id & I answered, "Brian Kennedy again??." To which he responded, "Now you feel pretty stupid don't you lady?" I asked again what organization he was with and the profanity started: "It's none of your f..... business who I'm with." I must have gasped in shock (wrong reaction) and he said, "What's the mattter lady, did you crap your pants?" I screamed to never call this number again and hung up. DO NOT ANSWER CALLS FROM THIS AREA CODE. He has a mature voice, so he must be a grown man who gets his highs from shocking strangers, harrassing them and violating their privacy. What a sicko...I also filed a complaint, but I won't be his victim again!

I'm surprised he gave a name to you but I'm pretty darn sure it's an alias. This guy when he gets caught will be in serious trouble. The most unsettling part was that he know my Mother lived here and her name when there isn't anything that is in her name except medical bills.
I had his number blocked and so far so good. He wouldn't have stopped otherwise. If or when he gets a new number then I'll just block that one and keep filling reports.
Yes, he is a sicko this person is obviously disturbed and possibly a dangerous individual.
