They called my cell twice today. I answered the second time. The woman said she was calling from Franklin Research and asked for my wife (by name) for a political survey. The number comes up as from Egypt on my caller ID. I asked which country she was calling me from and she hung up on me.
I was here this time. After a couple of hellos a lady(?) came on the line and asked for my son by name. She didn't identify who was calling. Must be a secret as the phone number isn't valid either. I could here a lot of other people in the background so it was obviously a call center. I told her that there wasn't anyone here by that name. She said OK and hung up. Somehow I don't think they will give up that easy.
2020645781 calls repeatedly, three times in the last few hours and multiple times over the last week. My phone number is on gov't do not call list which is apparently worthless. Looking for legal recourse...
