I just had three one after another. I couldn't hear what the caller was saying (with an accent) over some kind of noisy music, like a bar. He asked for me by name but mis-pronounced it. I said, "Not here." The third time I yelled, "What?" He hung up and didn't call again.
You know you're telling a blog to stop calling, right? Even if she had a computer, this is a scammer, in case you didn't know, phishing for your mother's personal information, like a credit card or anything else stored on a computer. Don't waste your time answering and let your Mom know not to answer the phone. Hopefully, she has caller ID.
Scam call - No exchange starts with a "1", let alone "100"! Furthermore, legitimate businesses/people show their name on Caller ID, not the name of a city or "unknown".
