Just got a call from this number on my daughters phone. Asked who they were and why were they calling my Little girls phone an the guy got ugly with me. I told him I my phone line monitored and that my hubby was a police officer. He ended up sounding threatening after several minutes of silence and called me a MF and hung up on me.
They called my husbands phone several times about the grant money. He said he wasn't interested. The guy then said he was a terrorist and spouted off our home address and said he would be at our house in 20 minutes.
This is why you cannot be polite with them; they are criminals and predators.
Being angry at them doesn't bother them either, they consider it fighting words.
Best action to take is to ignore their calls, or evade them with call-blockers.
OMG, it's been several days of these relentless phone calls. They just won't stop. Told them politely that I wasn't interested, then later on it escalated to me screaming on the phone to tell them to stop. Seriously thinking of going to Walmart and picking up a whistle. It's definitely an overseas boiler room operation. Definitely a spoofed number.
