Got a call sat. Informing me I have money $6000 coming to me. I know this is false you can hear the call center talking to other people. They have a foreign accent so I told them ok ok send me the money they said no it's cash I told them no no I want a check they said they can't do that I said why not they said it's their choice I said no no and then they hang up I'll play their silly game
First time i answered i was driving. She asked if i was busy i said no, just driving and she hung up after saying shed call at a later time. Several missed calls later, i answered again. Lots of noise in the back ground and when i said hello 3 times they finally hung up. They call atleast twice a day
Considering the phone number is obviously spoofed you can be sure it's someone trying to scam you. NO phone number or area code in the US or Canada begins with a 0 or a 1. If you ever see a number like that don't answer & block it if you can.
