Caller explained that I had won a 9k grant from the government. They gave me 3 options to get the check. Direct deposit in my bank account, Visa card or Moneygram. I told them to send me a check and they told me that it was only the 3 options. I told them go ahead and deposit it in my bank account. They asked me for my account number. I told them if they really were the government they already had that information. They hung up on me.
This is a common scam... Don't give them any info....
