Said I was chosen for a grant. I knew it was bogus so I hung up and put them on my reject list, they called back from a different number, didn't answer and put that number on reject list too.
Male Caller said from "U.S. Federal Govt " and wanted to grant me $3000. I asked what do you want from me; they hanged up when they knew I was not going to give them any info. Shortly after this call, I got a female caller on 888 566-9799, identifying they were from U.S. Federal Govt. I told them to take me off their list. She hanged up.
This is third call in 2 days. Saying they are with United States Gov't regarding a grant. How the h$$$ did they get my number. I'm on the dnc list! The last 2 times asked by name and hang up. Please lose my number!
Scammers ignore you and all US law. Invest in a call blocker and do NOT pick up on call numbers you do not recognize. Area code 202 is often used bgy Indian and Pakistani debt/law/IRS scammers.
