Actually said my computer might catch on fire. I told him(Indian dude)and to call for help immediately. He said to give him my credit card info so he could help. Too funny.
I keep getting this number on my caller ID. They say they are Microsoft Support. t doesn't say their company just unabilble name. Can I report them to you. Would yo block them from my home line?
A gentleman with a thick Pakistanie, Indian, or Bangladeshi accent claimed he was with Windows and that I had a virus (We don't have Windows). I asked where he was located (I knew 202 is DC) and he responded with Delaware. I asked what's the capital of Delaware (Dover) - he ended the call. Jerk, if you're going to dupe Americans, brush up on our culture and geography.
caller ID on my phone says "Name Not Found 1-202-154-6237". The caller said he was from Microsoft Windows and I told him this was a scam and I hung up.
