I received a call from a guy who is Indian, he said he work for Microsoft at Connecticut, and my computer was hack. I knew this is a scam, because they had called me 2 months ago. I just ask him what time is at Connecticut now, he said 6:30pm, and same time at California
6:30pm. I told him you a liar, you are BS... you call me from India, from New Deli, not from Connecticut. But he still insist me to open my computer and try to type r and so on... This is a really scam. DO NOT DO WHAT THEY TOLD YOU TO DO! (I call back, no answer!)
Called at 1:08 am PST,, Of course I was asleep, didn't answer and tried just now to call them back, but was told "call could not be completed".. Thanks for the tips everyone.
I got a call at 12:30 midnight
The lady sounded like she was from India.
Saying she worked for Microsoft and my computer had been hacked.
To turn on my computer and open a file they installed to keep it safe.... crazy. Do not listen to this Scam!!!
Got a call from the same ignorant [***]/[***]- stupid [***], claiming he was from Microsoft security. had a few choice words for him, then hung-up- called number back and it was disconnected. he sounded so ignorant I was surprised he could dial a phone...
