It's a scam number, be glad you missed it. There's apparently been a rash of calls from people claiming to be from Washington D.C. (and my caller ID bore it out, actually). I got a call from this number, it was some guy claiming that I'd received a 9000 dollar Federal grant. I humored him 'til he told me I had two options to receive the grant: my bank account information, or my credit/debit card information.
He hung up on me when I asked if he could send the money to my P.O. Box on a prepaid Visa.

Just got a call from this number the guy had a foreign accent and said, "The reason for my call is, your credit is good and you have not filed any bankruptcies, correct?" I asked him, "That's the reason for your call?" He said "Yes." And asked me the question again. I told him "that's not a reason that's a question." He kept asking me questions and I told him I'm not answering any questions. Then he told me I was a very difficult customer. I told him I wasn't a customer, and don't know what he's selling. He started laughing and I hung up. Sounds suspicious, ha!
