I am being harrassed on my job by Robert DeCosta, Alex Smith, Steven Morgan and Jennifer Smith (the names they gave) phone numbers (202) 204-6025 and (202) 506-8020. They have my account information and threatened to come to my job tomorrow to have me arrested. They said they are with Samuelson Law Firm. I called the Loan Co. (which I have already paid off months ago) with whom they are saying they are representing and the Loan Co. stated that the people calling me are not with, part of nor representing there company; that they are frauds. For me not to give them any information! They made note of the information I gave them regarding the people calling/harrassing me and advised me to report them to the Federal Trade Commission @ ftc.gov. I called the police, the police came to my job, made a report & while they were in my office they called again. The Police Officer spoke with them and warned them they can trace the call and come and arrest them; that they are not to ever call my cell or work number again. I haven't heard from them since.
I just got the same call............laughed at them while they were trying to speak english....i kept saying "what do you want from me'........whoever this is just kept saying..'i want to see you behind bars'. OMG what a scam. For those of you getting these calls, reverse the game and call them back.......it is hilarious, they dont know what to say to you and finally just hang up.
I just got the same call. Said his name was Eric Smith (yeah right) and that I needed to have my attorney of record call him the very second I got the message. I just added the number to my call blocker. That'll work for a while, then they'll switch to a new number. Just arrest these scammers! Even though I know it's a scam, it does tend to frighten me!
