I've been checking on all these numbers I havn't answered in the last few days....this company has called me tons of times from different numbers.
Scam.The first time they called me was 6/11/08. They are mostly trying to sell car warranties, but sometimes they are 'giving' away TVs, or selling satallite service. I've never actually answered the calls so I wonder why they still call. Oh well.

Call came in.. I missed, didn't get any voicemail. It was an unknown number to me.. so just thought about looking it up.. amazed to see so many more got from the same number as well. Definitely a scam.
I got the Tv satelite freebie offer. when I asked to speak to a manager, someone else picked up. sounded like a prank and they started calling me a punk and cursing, then hung up. got a second call when I asked the guy who they were he said "oh sorry I fell asleep and had the weirdest dream", then hung up. dont know what this crap is.
I keep getting a call from this number and it is for a car warranty. I have repeatedly asked to be removed from their call list. I get it at work and on my cell phone.
Those are major violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Unauthorized predictive-dialed calls to cellphones are illegal. Period. No exceptions. You can easily file a complaint online with the FCC at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm I suggest filing a complaint each time they call.
The TCPA also gives you standing to sue these dolts for damages. (I think the cost for each illegal call is $500 paid to you.) But you have to go to court to do it.
