said the were from the federal government of the US and that i had one 5000$ in which i didn't have to pay back.

They said I had won $9000 and I had to claim the money but the call was short they hung on me when I had asked who it was

Said I won $9000 for a grant. Told me because I hadn't filed for bankruptcy in the last 6 months I could claim it. Asked for personal info, and when I asked where they were, he laughed (disgustingly) and said "In your house".

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:
