I listend to the person speak while I searched the number on Google. She asked how I would like to receive the money and I told her to use it to pay down our national debt. She responded with "Fu## you" and hung up.
The caller was looking for a Mr. ? (do not remember name). When I told him he had the wrong number, the caller pressured me for my name, which I did not provide. I then asked for him to remove my phone # from his data base. The caller told me in order to do that he must have my name. I refused to provide that information and hung up the phone, then BLOCKED THE NUMBER......
Number called twice, didn't leave a message on the first call. When I answered the second call it played out pretty much like the above responses. Lots of background noise, heavily accented female, said I had been randomly selected to receive a $9,000 grant from the government. When I started to ask questions the caller hung up.
