I received six calls one day last week and seven the next day from this number, shows up on caller ID as "Congress". I googled the number and found that it is Senator Grassley's office---I contacted them and was told someone/hacker is making the calls using their number but the calls are not originating in their office.
Not sure what this lady wanted. She asked if I was coming to a meeting or something like that. Caller ID said Nuebel Kathy. I don't know anyone with that name nor did a recognized the strange number.
Sounded like a recorded robo call from an old sounding man inviting me to some type of town hall meeting, or something like that. The guy's voice sounded a bit creepy. He sounded like he was near 90 years old.
These nuisance calls apparently originate from the office Charles Grassley, Republican Senator from Iowa; I Googled the phone number and got my answer. My call came at the, well, ungodly hour of 8:08 AM Central Time on a recent Sunday morning, and because the name Kathy Nuebel showed up on my caller ID, I felt obliged to answer it, thinking that perhaps some long-lost acquaintance was in trouble or something similar. I'm an Iowan myself, but registered as an Independent, and so don't want any sort of political call. Thus, I'm in the process of complaining to Grassley's office to get this nonsense stopped.

I searched the number and found it to be for Sen. GrAssLick's office in DC. I am an Iowan, and a registered Repugnican, but have always, and will continue to VOTE AGAINST this turd. Anyway, the call came in about 2 1/2 hours ago. A female reading a poorly written screed promoting some codswollop about how Sen. GrAssLick wants the will of "the people" to be the deciding factor in the appointment for the current SCOTUS vacancy, (instead of the Senate doing its function, I guess). She kept stumbling over the words (perhaps, trying to re-write it while reading) and eventually rang off. Typical.
