I keep getting phone calls from 1 202 236 9873. 4 in 1 day! I'm pretty sure it's a telemarketer. That national no-call list apparently has no effect. Found out it's located in Washington, D.C.

Getting calls from this on a daily basis for about a week now. When I answer no one says a word and just hangs up. I've called it back and it says that it is a Verizon wireless number that has been changed or disconnected. Pretty sure it is a telemarketing scam stating that they have grant money from the US govt. and that I need to go to Western Union to get it.
I have been getting phone calls for a while now . from several different people telling me The U S Government Treasury wants to give me money....Most of the callers are from unknown numbers... Some give me a code # to use and a phone # to call back ...When I look up the phone # it usually says scammer. I decided to call one back and ask them what kind of scam this was and the man that I talked to started telling me he was going to kill me using horrible profanity...I reported it to 911 and never got a call back from any officer....I guess the death threat didn't mean as much to them as it did to me!!I have 3 calls today and the last call was from (202) 236-9873 one was (917) 675- 3411 I didn't know the government could cuss you like they did and most of them can barely speak English......
+1 (202) 236-9873 called me to tell me that I am eligible for a $9000 grant. This is the fourth phone call I've gotten about this "free money" and they want me to call 202-643-0732 to claim it. Then all I gotta do is go to a money gram location to get it.
I too have received a call stating that I have been approved to receive $9,000.00. It is a grant you do not have to pay back. They gave me this number 202-6453-0732 to cal and get instructions to pick up the money at a Western Union. I called and they said I had to come in with $300 that was completely refundable. Now, why would our government ask you to pay $300 to receive $9,000? I smell a rat. I have gotten grants from other sources and never paid anything up front.
