LOLA
The phone numbers of (202) 239-1213 or 0. (855) 275-1274 and (855) 275-1277. Now they are all linked to the same people. They all have strong Indian Accent English names of Ryan Scott, Jason Luther, and Mary Codner They called me again this Saturday morning. So I decided to play their little game until they got disgusted with me and hung up. They asked for my name, last 4 of my social security and address. I gave them all false information and yet they had a case number for me of CP10173T....And their ID# was IRM3813 AND IRM1511. They said I owed taxes from 2010 - 2015... They claim I owed $7,986.00... And if I don't pay it I will go to jail. One of the girl whom I've spoke with was getting very angry with my questions. I asked her for their address which was to be the I.R.S., Service Fraud location. This person Mary said it was: (Now be clever and check this out..lol) This person Mary Codner said it was 1111 Constipation Avenue., N.W., Washington DC   202004...... I cracked up laughing and told her; Well, since  the Fraud Department address was on (Constipation Avenue)... I give up and just have them arrest me for such claims.. She started getting pist off with me. She said you wait you wanna be arrested they will be in. So i asked her how long? Than she said in 2 hours. I told (for 2 hours?) Dang !!!!  You people work hella slow. She told me to stay on the line. I told her for 2 hours? She said yea, I'll wait with you for 2 hours till you get arrested. I told her okay thats fine. She than played this loud music in my ears. I did wait for 54 minutes and 12 seconds

Your money is gone, sorry to say. Even worse, you have set yourself up to receive even more threatening calls from these criminals, now that they know you are an "easy mark". All you can do is file a report with the IRS to let them know you have become one of thousands of victims:

There are numerous telephone and email scams in which individuals claim to be employees of the Treasury Department. These scammers often state that they are from the “Department of Legal Affairs,” offer grant money in exchange for you wiring a small payment, or threaten to arrest you within a short period of time unless payment is made. Do not provide personal information or payment to these individuals.  Their actions are crimes under Titles 18 and 31 of the United States Code, and the Treasury Office of Inspector General is working to stop them.

If they claim to be from Treasury, report  it to [email protected] with a description.  If it was a phone contact, include:
the exact date and time that you received the call(s)
the phone number of the caller
the geographic location and time zone where you received the call
a description of the communication.

If they claim to be from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) or it is about taxes, report it to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at:

Ha! The "supervising agent" that came on the line suggested, "Go to the bank and take a picture of your bank balance. When you are in your car, please let me know. I'll wait." All the same numbers... phone numbers, amount owed, etc. are exactly the same as above. Rep had a heavy accent but called herself Jennifer Jones. What a joke!

The Indian scammers  love to use the names of deceased or has-been American actors.   Jennifer Jones.  Right.  Laffable.
