They called my wife and the told her that your husband is having a problem and he has an arrest warrant for me and I have to call him. My wife was really afraid and she said they were from India according to the accent and he defined himself as Jerry waneck and gave my wife a 4 digit number as badge no.. I went to the Police department and it is Saturday today. Then I told my self the irs works really hard on the weekends. (what a stupid scammers hhhh). Then I called them and there was a voice message you have reached the office of crime and ivestigation. They called me back, a lady with accent from India was asking about who I am and I told her with firm voice that you called me claiming that there is an arrest warrant for me then she asked me what is your phone no., I told her almost screaming that I am not gonna give you my home no. You may be a scam. She immediately end the call. They officials has to take care of this
"Eric Adams" called my house number on Saturday. I wasn't home and he told my mom that it was urgent I call him back. When I did, he gave me a case number and then transferred me to "Rachel." She then told me that they sent papers to me in Jan and since they didn't get a response, Homeland Security would be showing up at my door on Monday morning. I asked her what time I should expect them and then she hung up on me. I called back and spoke to "Adams" again. I told him that "Rachel" hung up on me and I wanted to know what this was about. He said the same thing he said to everybody else about being from the crime investigation department of the tax department. I asked where they were located and he said "DC." I asked where the office was since I am familiar with DC and that's when he hung up. Apparently he called my house number one more time and told my mom that the police would be knocking on the door as soon as they got off the phone. What we don't understand is what information they were trying to get. They didn't really have it together.
RECEIVED CALL FROM ERIC ADAMS FOR MY EX HUSBAND INSISTED HE WAS AN OFFICER WITH THE CRIME INVESTIGATION UNIT FOR THE FEDERAL TREASURY TAX INVESTIGATION DIVISION. I TOLD HIM HE WAS A DEBT COLLECTOR HE GOT BELIGERANT AND INFORMED ME I COULD BE CHARGED WITH A CRIME FOR WITH HOLDING INFORMATION. HE STATED THAT AN OFFICER WOULD BE AT MY DOOR WITHIN 30 MINUTES, AND I TOLD HIM TO SEND THEM ON, I WOULD BE WAITING 05/19/2014 AT OR ABOUT 8:30 PM. NOBODY SHOWED DEBT COLLECTOR BEWARE AND GIVE NO INFORMATION. IT WILL BE REPORTED IN THE AM
A man called last night after 9pm and claimed to be IRS tax crime investigation officer. He had a thick foreign accent (middle eastern/ south eastern Asian type). The person identified himself as officer Jerry Varick but I think it's a scam. I spoke before with different IRS officers on the phone and they have totally different manners of communication. I think that person was definitely not an officer, but a criminal. I hope the authorities will do something about this before it's too late.
I received a call from 202-239-2398 as well. They threatened that a warrant has been issued against me. I have reported it to

Same number called me. Told me that Homeland Security would be at my door on Monday morning. I reported it as well. I hope they get caught since they are probably able to trick some people.
