Scam IRS call. For anyone else who gets a call from this number, no matter how many scare tactics they use do not believe one word of what they say. I just got a call from this number myself. I am an accountant and can assure you this is not how the IRS conducts business. The IRS will not call you unless they have already established contact with you through the mail. They do not ever call to warn of arrest and for them to get to the point of arrrsting anyone is a lengthy process, the first step of which is for one of the agents from the CID to establish contact with you in person. So please don't give these scam artists a penny, anything they tell you is a lie.
