Robo-call from "Heather", an agent for the IRS. Informed me that the IRS had issued a warrant for my arrest and I should call her back immediately. The IRS does not contact taxpayers by phone. Scam of some sort. Don't know what kind of scam since I didn't call her back. Number is now blocked
1/22/16. Same as above-recorded message saying that there I was being investigated by IRS and there was a warrant out for my arrest. Didn't listen to whole message but said I needed to call back.
Caller left message saying that there was a warrant out for my arrest by IRS on my personal property. It was a recorded message and they left a number to call back and wanted me to call before action would take place. The IRS does not contact people this way and this is definitely a scam. It should be against the law to make such calls. We are on the do not call list, but it hasn't made any difference. Who can we report this number to in order to file a complaint?
