It a scam....they called and said what everyone else on this post has stated...so I called them back I gave them my dead father's ss ...I gave them an address to federal prison....
And they hung up..lol
Did not answer call....listened to voice mail and it sounded like an Indian dude threatening ITS legally action if I did not cal back in 24 hours.....spam/phishing
I called them back they are totally inept rookies. Gave fake name and zip. When asked to confirm address and date of birth said cannot provide personal info??? Huh what told me I ow 4.5k but cannot confirm that info. Asked for my name, Kolin Forsecs, and other but cannot devulge. Since was from 2008 to 2012 told them cannot be me since born in 1996 and too young to have IRS tax return. Never listen to what you say.
Called and left a message saying I was going to be arrested. Called the number back for fun and a voicemail picke up saying please leave a message with a heavy Indian accent. I KNOW the IRS would not use that as their number...it would be official. I do owe taxes (but they are not delinquent right now)
